Please bring a picture ID. Make sure you are feeling well on the day of your donation and have plenty to eat and drink before and after you donate.
Everyone is required to wear a mask at our Main Building Blood Donor Center facility in the Texas Medical Center and at our suburban locations in League City, Sugar Land, West Houston and The Woodlands.

A whole blood donation lasts approximately 10-20 minutes. Can be donated every 56 days.
A double red cell donation allows one donor to give two units of red blood cells in one setting using an automated collection system. Procedure takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Can be donated every 112 days.
A platelet donation allows one donor to give one therapeutic dose of platelets in one setting using an automated collection system. Procedure takes approximately 70-90 minutes. Can be donated every 7 Days up to 24 times a year.
