A platelet donation allows one donor to give one therapeutic dose of platelets in one setting using an automated collection system. Procedure takes approximately 70-90 minutes. Can be donated every 7 Days up to 24 times a year.

A double red cell donation allows one donor to give two units of red blood cells in one setting using an automated collection system. Procedure takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Can be donated every 112 days.
